Eaton’s ESS (Energy Solutions & Services) division is currently seeking a Director - Program Management. This role can be based in Pittsburgh PA, Raleigh NC, Waukesha WI OR Woodridge IL. Relocation assistance within US to these locations available.
The Director, Program Management for Eaton’s Energy Solutions and Services Group (ESS) provides strategic leadership for program management across five divisions, overseeing a $6B portfolio. This role is accountable for delivering new product launches and major redesigns, driving a culture of continuous improvement and lean practices, and ensuring achievement of throughput and growth objectives. The Director manages a team of senior program leaders, leads cross-functional initiatives, and partners with executive leadership to advance program management maturity and operational excellence across the organization.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $158,000 - $232,000 a year. This position is also eligible for a EIC bonus program.

What you’ll do:
+ Provide strategic leadership for program management across five divisions, supporting a $6B portfolio and driving innovation in the electrical industry.
+ Oversee and deliver new product launches and major product redesigns, ensuring all projects meet scope, schedule, and budget commitments.
+ Own and lead the ESS New Product Development portfolio management and prioritization process, including presenting business cases for strategic projects and securing funding for high-impact initiatives.
+ Foster a culture of continuous improvement and lean practices, embedding these principles throughout the organization.
+ Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team of senior program leaders and program managers, promoting cross-functional collaboration.
+ Coordinate efforts across multiple business units and locations, enabling seamless integration among Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations.
+ Advance program management maturity by partnering with executive leadership and sharing best practices across the organization.
+ Implement and maintain advanced project and portfolio management tools and processes to ensure operational excellence.
+ Track, analyze, and report on program progress, quality, and performance, ensuring transparency and accountability.
+ Lead strategic initiatives such as engineering footprint consolidation and operational excellence projects that drive organizational growth.
+ Act as a change agent, navigating complex challenges and championing the adoption of innovative program management methodologies.
+ Promote a collaborative, service-oriented approach, building strong relationships with business partners and stakeholders at all levels.
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field from an accredited institution
+ Minimum of ten (10) years of project management experience in new product development
+ Minimum of five (5) years people management experience
