    DESCRIPTION

    We are offering a **$5000 Sign on Bonus** for a talented **Field Service Power Generation Technician / Mechanic** to join our Distribution Business in **Hilliard, OH.**

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

    + Completing repair activities on generators or components

    + Engaging with customers in a courteous and professional manner

    + Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools

    + Maintain detailed records of service

    + Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies

    + Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products

    + Maintain own tools

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

    + Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.

    + High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.

    + Proficient experience with electrical repair and maintenance

    + Basic Diesel Engine experience.

    + Proficient troubleshooting and repairs of generators, transfer switches, and auxiliary components.

    + Understanding switchgear schematics.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    - A current valid license is required for this role

     

    - This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations

     

    - This role requires applicant to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical

     

    - 3 years driving experience

     

    - This role is subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use

    - Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older, applicant must be 21 years of age
