This role in summary

_The FDC driver will support manufacturing by receiving units that are produced via the conveyor system and putting them away to their stow destination. Additional responsibilities include: preparing units for outbound shipments and ensuring it meets quality standards._

Your responsibilities will include

+ **Driving a clamp truck (90% backwards)**

+ **Being able to work in a team environment**

+ **Prepare units for shipments that are delivered across the country and internationally**

+ **Ensure outbound units meet the minimum quality standard**

+ **Self driven and motivated**

+ **Be able to communicate clearly via radio or in-person**

+ **Work overtime as needed**

Minimum requirements

_Minimum of High School education or equivalent_

_Must have a valid Driver's License and able to pass a Clamp Truck driving test to be certified to operate the equipment_

_Able to drive backwards most of the day while Clamp Truck is carrying load_

_Clear understanding of company policies and procedures and demonstrates the Whirlpool values of integrity, teamwork, diversity and inclusion, and a spirit of winning_

_Demonstrated ability to successfully deliver and sustain results with strong problem solving and decision making skills_

_Exhibits a high capacity to deal with multiple priorities_

_Must demonstrate an extremely high level of attention to detail_

_Takes personal responsibility and demonstrates strong self-initiative._

_Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds_

_Flexibility to work any overtime or adjusted schedule that may be required due to production demands_

Preferred skills and experiences

_Experience of driving a forklift or clamp truck is a plus_
