    The Opportunity:

    Join CACI and make a difference in national defense by supporting US Special Operations Command. We're seeking an expert **SQL Database Administrator** with advanced skills in managing and developing databases. The opportunity is limited to self-starters with an advanced level of experience in managing and developing databases and capable of working independently in a fluid custom application development environment. You will be an integral part of a selective professional IT team that directly supports the operational planning cycle to support mission success.

     

    This position is in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) organization in Fayetteville, NC. Selected candidate for hire** **MUST** **be able to work onsite.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage database objects, constraints, replication, and storage structures.

    • Expertise in SQL tuning and XML technologies.

    • Strong understanding of database schema, data modeling, and architecture.

    • Provide advice to the software development team and support application teams.

    • Analyze, design, build, test, and implement database solutions.

    Qualifications:

    _Required:_

    • Active TS/SCI clearance.

    • 8 years of progressive experience performing complex analysis, design, development, and modification to improve efficiency of Microsoft SQL and/or PostgreSQL databases in support of enterprise architecture.

    • Proficiency in administering and deploying server equipment.

    • Strong communication skills.

    • Ability to obtain and maintain currency of the appropriate level certification in accordance with DODD 8570.01.

    _Desired:_

    • Bachelor's degree and three additional years of general experience in the fields of database administration, intelligence systems architecture and geospatial systems experience are highly desirable

    • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) SQL Server certifications desired.

    The proposed salary range for this position is:

    $63,300-$129,700
