The Opportunity
This position works out of our Plano, TX location in the Neuromodulation Division.
Responsible for performing calibration functions on all testing and measuring equipment used throughout manufacturing operations. This role directly impacts the accuracy of the company’s measurement and process equipment, ensuring product quality and compliance with Quality Systems Requirements and other regulatory standards.
What You’ll Work On
+ Perform precise calibrations on measuring and testing equipment, tools, gauges, and fixtures according to established procedures and the calibration schedule.
+ Coordinate calibration with certified external sources for equipment that cannot be maintained internally.
+ Maintain clear and accurate records to support timely problem identification, development of departmentalprocedures, and compliance with internal and external regulations.
Required Qualifications
+ High School Diploma / GED or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
+ Associate's degree or some college credits preferred.
+ Minimum 4 years of related work experience.
+ May also require a license or certification in the area of expertise.
+ Applies extensive knowledge of advanced technical concepts and practices, and a complete understanding of product or systems fundamentals in a functional area and working knowledge of Metrology and other related disciplines. Utilizes/interprets Engineering drawing and equipment specification documentation.
+ Will perform this job in a quality system environment. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations. (Cognitive Skills).
+ Assists in the evaluation, calibration of all area-specific equipment and systems.
+ May determine types of tests or develop preventative maintenance plans and calibration. Assignments require considerable judgment, initiative, creativity, critical thinking and leadership in troubleshooting, suggesting alternatives, and making recommendations for continuous quality improvement methods.
This position is essential to maintaining product quality and meeting compliance requirements by ensuring the accuracy and reliability of all measurement and process equipment.

The base pay for this position is $22.45 – $44.85 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
