Overview
Day Shift, Full-time
The System Transfer Center Manager has 24-hour accountability for the UPH Patient Transfer Center. The manager is responsible for creating a safe, healthy, positive, and professional culture where team members can work together effectively to serve patients seeking care at UPH. Responsibilities
+ Ensure cost‑effective 24/7 staffing of the system transfer center.
+ Oversee operational budget development, monitoring, analysis, and variance reporting.
+ Use financial, quality, and staffing tools to support effective operations.
+ Maintain working knowledge of HR labor laws and comply with all HR policies related to hiring, interviewing, onboarding, retention, and performance management.
+ Lead orientation and annual competency planning for staff, aligning programs with departmental goals.
Qualifications
Education:
+ Bachelors in Nursing
+ Preferred: Masters in Nursing, or other Heathcare related field or MBA
Experience:
+ Hospital Management experience
+ Preferred: Emergency Department or Critical Care Manager experience
Licenses/Certifications:
+ Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license.
+ BLS (within 180 days of hire)
