SUMMARY
This position is responsible for a variety of procurement activities, including managing supplier performance, supporting strategic sourcing initiatives and contributing to continuous improvement efforts within the procurement function. The Procurement Specialist will work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to optimize the procurement process and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
**Required:** Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration or a related field plus three (3) or more years of experience in purchasing/procurement, sourcing, and/or supply chain operations. Must be proficient in all Microsoft products, including Power BI. Must also possess knowledge of procurement principles, best practices and have an understanding of supply chain management concepts. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, negotiation and presentation skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
**Preferred:** Proficiency in SAP, Oracle, NetSuite.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
+ Monitor supplier performance against contractual obligations and address any issues that arise with cross functional team.
+ Lead Supplier Service Level KPI reporting and facilitate monthly/quarterly cadence calls to ensure performance transparency and accountability.
+ Analyze procurement data, such as spend analysis, supplier performance, and contract compliance.
+ Prepare reports and presentations to communicate procurement performance and insights to stakeholders.
+ Develop and maintain processing schedules to support efficient procurement operations and timely order fulfillment, utilizing SAP, the transportation management system and collaboration with internal and external partners.
+ Partner with Category Managers to ensure alignment across sourcing initiatives and category plans.
+ Support strategic sourcing efforts and contribute to procurement planning.
+ Identify inefficiencies in procurement workflows and lead improvement initiatives.
+ Implement best practices to enhance procurement effectiveness and reduce cost.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
