    Salary: $57,000/yr Position Summary : This position is responsible for all new intakes in the Circuit 9 (Orange and Osceola Counties) area and securing placement in licensed out of home care. The Out of Home Care Supervisor ensures compliance with applicable federal, state & contractual requirements. This position participates in the 2 nd tier On Call Rotation. Technical/Functional Expectations: 1. Point of contact for all new intakes in Circuit 9. 2. Identifies appropriate levels of care for children in licensed care. 3. Serves as centralized point of access for FPOCF, fielding calls and providing information pertaining to licensed out of home care placement. 4. Collects and maintains demographic data on referrals and active children being served. 5. Provide coverage as needed for Circuit 18 to include entries of Dually Served Department of Juvenile Justice youth in compliance with procedures set forth. 6. Tracks daily placement movement including various levels of care and funding requirements. 7. Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with relevant community agencies and partnerships. 8. Complete and track Comprehensive Behavioral Health Assessments for newly sheltered children and/or other requested or court ordered CBHA’s. 9. Other essential tracking to include but not limited to application and redirection of social security benefits or assessment for appropriateness of Agency for Persons with Disabilities application and documentation of citizenship. 10. Triages calls and communication as it relates to incoming calls including communication about any potential placement disruptions. 11. Strong customer service orientation at the point of entry. 12. Reviews comprehensive placement assessment tools for new shelters, updates comprehensive placement assessment tools for children already in licensed care. 13. Monitors activities to meet specific measurable service objectives to assure compliance with statewide operation goals. 14. Participates in the agency strategic plan & quality improvement processes 15. Ability to safely & successfully perform essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, & other federal, state, & local standards, including meeting qualitative & quantitative productivity standards. 16. Ability to maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with ADA, FMLA & other federal, state, & local standards 17. Ability to comply with all personnel policies & procedures 18. Attends the CTS staffing’s and communicates pertinent information to the placement team if licensed care will be needed. Demonstrate cultural and linguistic competence & sensitivity to population served Educational and Experience Requirements: 1. Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university and two (2) years’ experience in child welfare services (providing a continuum of services designed to ensure child safety and to support families in caring for their children successfully). 2. Clinical – one (1) to two (2) years of clinical experience: This position will be completing assessments to determine levels of care for children placed in out-of- home care and completing referrals for Comprehensive Behavioral Assessments. 3. Valid Driver’s License – Hybrid position that will require some traveling. Physical Requirements: 1. Carrying 2. Sitting 3. Standing 4. Writing 5. Typing 6.
