    Posting Description

    BUSINESS LOGISTICS SPECIALIST I, Information Systems and Technology (IS&T), supports the decision-making and oversight related to the fulfillment of requests for goods and services, including warehousing, distribution, and asset management. The role will assist in deciding effective sourcing of IT products, and will develop and manage the process to identify, evaluate, and select appropriate service providers; articulate Service Level Agreements (SLAs); manage strategic assets; and serve as the primary interface between the vendor or service providers and the users, engineers, and/or other technical resources to coordinate communication between vendors and IS&T.

    Job Requirements

    REQUIRED: A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of two years of experience in business, contracts, information technology, or another related field; working knowledge of information systems, financial and accounting systems, and business functions and processes; demonstrated (oral and written) communication skills that support transactional and administrative activities; demonstrated organizational skills to effectively multitask work within necessary deadlines; knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel; demonstrated experience in shipping/receiving with a working knowledge of material handling equipment; and be able to physically lift and carry a minimum of 25 lbs. on a routine basis and a minimum of 50 lbs. occasionally.

     

    A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle report are required.

     

    This is a full-time hybrid position.
