Job Description

**Bereavement Support - Memory Bear Program-Bringing Comfort Through Sewing** . Help families cherish the memory of their loved ones by creating beautiful Memory Bears from clothing that holds special meaning. We're looking for caring, detail-oriented volunteers who can sew from home and contribute to this heartfelt project. Your work will provide comfort and connection during a difficult time. _Please note: This role is supplemental and does not involve direction patient interaction or access to private information._

Episodic positions are exempt from vaccinations, background check, drug tests and finger printing.

Qualifications

+ Must be 18 years of age or older

+ Able to work well with diverse populations

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

+ Good listening skills. Active listener

+ Maintain and respect professional relationships

+ Sound mental and emotional health

+ Sensitive to patient and family situations / dynamics

+ Able to stay calm in stressful situations
