    **Position Description:** EKG Technician

    Position Details:

    The Electrocardiogram Technician –responsibilities and skills: Responsible for Cardiology related services. Responsible for performance of EKG. This includes the completion of high-quality tests, report generation, record keeping and all related support activities. Assist the physician and other health care professionals in related technical areas as needed. Function independently with minimal or no supervision and may coordinate others, as applicable.

    Qualifications:

    _Required Experience:_

    + High School Graduate or Equivalent GED

    _Required Certification:_

    + BLS (Basic Life Support)

    _Preferred:_

    + Technical Program Completion or Degree

    + Technical - Electrocardiography (EKG)

    **Facility:** BayCare Health System, Non-Invasive Cardiology - St. Anthony's Hospital

    **Location:** St Anthonys

    **Status:** Part Time, Exempt: No

    **Shift Hours:** 8 hour shifts

    **Shift:** Shift 1

    Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

    **Weekend Work:** Occasional

    **On Call:** No
