    Medical Director - BayCare Urgent Care Summary:

    + Oversees clinical operations and quality of care at all BayCare Urgent Care and Occupational Medicine/Workman’s Compensation locations.

    + Responsibilities include managing provider schedules, processing expenses, conducting quality reviews, and supervising operational tasks.

    + Aims to improve healthcare delivery, efficiency, and cost control.

    + Ensures proper implementation of care standards, communicates with teams, reports on progress, and addresses staff concerns.

    + Track outcomes, analyze practice patterns, and recommend improvements for provider performance.

    + Ensures quality management and works closely with the Director of Freestanding Emergency Departments and Urgent Cares to maintain quality, safety, productivity, and effectiveness at all locations.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    **Required Education:** Doctoral Degree – Medical Doctor

    **Required Credentials** : Medical License – State of Florida

    **Required Experience:** 5 years in a physician practice and 2 years as an Assistant Medical Director or equivalent.

     

    Status:** **Full Time, Exempt: Yes

     

    Shift Hours:** **8:00AM - 5:00PM
