+ GENERAL SUMMARY
+ The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for planning, data analysis and financial reporting of the organizations supply chain distribution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to working collaboratively with staff to improve purchasing efficiency and processes, ensuring the quality and quantity of work performance is consistent with policy and standards, providing technical expertise and educational support to cross-functional teams, resolving financial reporting, and processing issues and facilitating problem resolution. Reports to department leadership.
+ ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Verifies financial reports and assists with product trials and product conversions from start to finish (with Buyers & Warehouse).
+ Works closely with the Contract Management Analyst in identifying product agreements that are renewing, expiring, or terminated.
+ Gathers, cleanses, curates, and standardizes data from multiple sources to support sustainable operational and clinical decision and insight development.
+ Analyzes large and complex data sets and support end-users by enhancing information by developing visualizations through dashboards, metrics, and user interfaces.
+ Builds analytic capabilities and modify existing tools/programs to grow the organization's knowledge and accommodate change.
+ Builds data models and business glossary by gathering information from multiple sources such as end users, vendors, existing data sources, databases, and other relevant documents and systems.
+ Serves as data and metric processing subject matter expert for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system also demonstrating and understanding key data management principles and ERP process flow.
+ Works diligently in supply chain software tools for software maintenance and analyze data to understand current supply chain challenges, inventory levels, contract pricing, and departmental projects (including discrepancies and inconsistencies)
+ Uses analysis to define customer needs, determine potential strategies, and execute plans/proposals to support the Value Analysis Teams and other hospital committees as needed.
+ Performs all other duties as assigned.
+ LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
+ Preferred Licenses and/or Certifications
+ Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP) preferred.
+ MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
+ Required Education and Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college/university required.
+ Preferred Education and Experience
+ Two years purchasing experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
+ Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Possesses solid knowledge of materials management operations and materials management information systems (MMIS), statistical and financial analysis, value and cost analysis, productivity measurement, Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI), MMIS inventory description and min/max analysis/data management clean up.
+ Proficient in the use of spreadsheets, databases, word processing and presentation software tools to interpret, communicate and present information in clear, concise and understandable manner.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, analytical reporting, ERP Databases, query generation, modification, and extraction with experience in the use of spreadsheets, databases, word processing and presentation software tools to interpret, communicate and present information in clear, concise and understandable manner.
+ Possesses strong problem formulation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and succinctly.
+ Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills necessary to interact with supplying vendors, customers and other team members.
+ Proven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes, and procedures.
+ Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Knowledge of automation tools in Microsoft products suites (SharePoint Lists, Microsoft Teams, etc.) preferred.
+ Dashboard and visualization proficiency in ERP – Premier Connect, Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) - Vizient or related industry software preferred.
+ Experience using statistical or mathematical techniques preferred.
+ Experience compiling data for analysis and metrics, working with data analysis methodologies, and supporting tools preferred.
+ WORKING CONDITIONS
+ May be exposed to excessive noise, dust and weather conditions while performing certain duties.
