We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to manage and optimize our critical External Manufacturing (EM) network. In this high-impact, global role, you will be the key architect ensuring our innovation pipeline is seamlessly supported by world-class external capabilities, driving both growth and resilience across our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
+ Drive business growth by ensuring that our innovation needs are met by the competencies of our External Manufacturing (EM) network.
+ Conduct comprehensive market research and scouting to uncover new capabilities and potential partnerships that will bolster innovation, enable cost savings, and enhance our contingency planning strategies.
+ Own External Manufacturing Supplier Relationship Management discipline in the company and lead differentiated partnership programs governance for EM’s Work in close partnership with divisions and cross-functional teams to establish a reliable and resilient EM network worldwide through solid procurement fundamentals.
+ Embed the Holistic Risk Management program worldwide and collaborate on developing mitigation strategies to guarantee uninterrupted business operations.
+ Monitor progress and coordinate efforts to enhance EM adherence to CP's quality and social responsibility standards, including Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Social Responsibility Self-Assessment (SRSA) criteria.
+ Create effective contracting models for EM and JV/JDA partners, including multi year value models for mutual benefit and sustained performance.
+ Develop and execute contracting strategies that incorporate essential clauses linked to the EM segmentation, ensuring that the contracts accurately represent the nature of the relationship and the value anticipated from our partners.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for EM.
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in related field.
+ A minimum of 7 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or R&D.
+ Strong aptitude for computers with experience working in SAP, Google, Excel and regulatory databases.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as analytical and organizational skills.
+ Highly motivated, creative and enthusiastic.
+ Self-starter.
+ Knowledgeable in direct materials (packaging) used in consumer products.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $120,000.00 - $168,500.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
