**I** magine creating the next generation of premium skincare products that transform skin health for consumers globally. In this role, you will lead the formulation and fundamental development for our elite skin health portfolio, ensuring every product delivers peak efficacy and desirability. Developing innovative solutions in our Piscataway, NJ facility, you will own the process of bringing cutting-edge actives to life through robust, stable, and award-winning formulas.
Responsibilities
+ **Developing** and launching a global strategic skincare portfolio while providing formulation expertise for diverse international markets.
+ **Collaborating** with upstream research teams to identify and validate new technology leads in areas like aging and regeneration across various formula types, including creams, serums, and cleansers.
+ **Propose** and review claims and assist with consumer testing collaborations
+ **Leading** collaboration efforts with external partners and suppliers to stay current on scientific trends and drive technology development.
+ **Communicating** research results both internally and through posters and patents to maintain a competitive edge.
Required Qualifications
+ BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, or Bioengineering.
+ A minimum of 2 years of R&D experience.
+ A minimum of 2 years of specific experience in Skin or Personal Care formulations.
+ Proven technical background in skincare or beauty formula development, evaluation (stability, efficacy, cost), and scale-up expertise
+ Demonstrated track record of generating patentable skincare formulations and awareness of broad lab analytical techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Strong project management and execution skills, with a proven ability to support projects with diverse timelines and goals.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
+ Advanced communication and collaboration skills for effective interactions with multi-functional teams and external stakeholders.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range $83,200.00 - $117,500.00 USD
Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.
Benefits: Salaried employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, paid parental leave, disability coverage, and participation in the 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions subject to eligibility requirements. Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee's hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
