Lab Billing Specialist Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $19.77- $29.66 an hour - Full-TIme Days, 32 hours per week Boulder Community Health is seeking a Lab Billing Specialist who is the primary billing contact for the Laboratory Department. Coordinate and manage billing projects within the Laboratory Department. This individual may be responsible for some or all of the essential duties of this position as determined by lab management. Responsibilities •Pricing analysis for referral testing and maintenance of lab fee schedules and chargemaster. •Management of laboratory billing processes, including bundled CPTs, CCI edits, diagnosis corrections, charge entry, and LIS billing adjustments. •Resolution of lab billing errors, technical denials, rejection batches, and miscellaneous/manual charge entries. •Oversight of patient and client billing activities, including demographic updates, billing issue resolution, and client account audits. •Acquisition and maintenance of CPT, LOINC, and EMR IDs for test dictionaries and reference lab fee schedules. •Editing and upkeep of the Laboratory Service Directory. •Coordination of HEDIS reporting and assistance with regulatory readiness (TJC). •Customer service support for subsidiary clinics, patients, providers, and laboratory staff; ongoing education and communication. •Conducting meetings, organizing follow-up actions, and collaborating with revenue integrity and third-party billing teams.
