    What You'll Do:

    + Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry into the location, following established procedures.

    + Provide customer service by assisting visitors, contractors, and employees with access-related inquiries and verifying credentials.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any irregularities.

    + Maintain detailed and accurate logs of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required by site-specific policies.

    + Follow site-specific policies and procedures relevant to chemical and petrochemical environments, remaining alert to environmental and operational hazards.

    + Participate in emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations or other site-specific protocols.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.

    + A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

    + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
