Night Cook/Dietary Aide

Job Summary:

Join our dedicated team at Pine Acres Rehabilitation, a rehabilitation center focused on providing exceptional medical, continuous nursing, and other health and social services to patients. As a Night Cook/Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of quality care and ensuring the well-being of our residents. We are seeking a reliable and compassionate individual to join our night shift team on a PART_TIME_AND_FULL_TIME basis.

Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and serve meals and snacks to patients as needed

+ Restock and maintain inventory of food and supplies in the kitchen and dietary areas

+ Assist with cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen and dietary areas

+ Monitor and manage food temperatures to ensure quality and safety

+ Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and prepare special diets and meals as required

+ Maintain accurate records of food preparation, serving, and inventory

+ Provide assistance with resident care and daily living activities as needed

+ Demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care and maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times

Requirements:

+ Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

+ Basic knowledge of food preparation and sanitation practices

+ Excellent communication and teamwork skills

+ Ability to lift, push, and maneuver food carts, supplies, and equipment as needed
