As a **Security Officer - Healthcare Patrol Full-Time** in **Los Angeles, CA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with de-escalation and/or coordination with emergency personnel as appropriate.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.

+ Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, ensuring that only authorized individuals are present in restricted areas.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.

+ Assist with wayfinding and provide information or directions to staff, patients, and visitors as needed.

+ Collaborate with hospital staff and local authorities as required to support a secure environment within the healthcare location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
