Pay & Shifts Available
+ **$25–$35/hr**
+ **1st Shift:** 6:00am–2:30pm
+ **2nd Shift:** 2:00pm–10:30pm (+$0.50 differential)
+ **3rd Shift:** 10:00pm–6:30am (+10% differential)
What You’ll Do
+ Set up complex parts on CNC machines (multi‑axis lathes, Swiss‑type lathes, vertical machining centers)
+ Perform tool changes, machine changeovers, and routine maintenance
+ Interpret detailed blueprints and geometric tolerances
+ Complete 1st article inspections and verify part quality
+ Make minor program edits (tool locations, speeds/feeds)
+ Collaborate with engineering to improve cycle times and machining performance
+ Mentor junior machinists and help strengthen the team
+ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
What You Bring
Must‑Haves
+ 3+ years machining on Haas Mills or Star (Swiss) machines
+ Experiene setting up Haas and/or Star (Swiss) machines
+ 1+ year editing G‑code on Fanuc controls
+ Skilled with micrometers, calipers, gauges
Nice‑to‑Haves
+ CNC programming experience (Haas or Star)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
