HVAC Service Technician / Working Foreman – New Ulm, MN

Compensation

$45–$50/hr, depending on experience

Company is willing to pay perdiem for high level candidates outside of shop (New Ulm) site

We are adding experienced HVAC professionals to the team. This role focuses on service, diagnostics, repair, and system installs across both residential and commercial sites. You’ll handle day‑to‑day service calls, identify issues, offer solutions, and provide a strong customer experience. Occasional after‑hours work may come up, but the schedule is steady and you’ll have reliable support, equipment, and a company vehicle.

What You’ll Do

+ Identify and troubleshoot a wide range of HVAC system problems

+ Service, repair, and maintain furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and ventilation equipment

+ Install equipment and components according to project needs

+ Follow all applicable mechanical, electrical, and safety codes

+ Clearly explain findings and recommendations to customers

+ Track parts used and document completed work

+ Respond to emergency or after‑hours calls when required

+ Keep your vehicle, tools, and equipment organized and well‑maintained

Ideal Candidate Has:

+ Experience in residential _and_ commercial HVAC

+ Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills

+ Preventive maintenance experience

+ Ability to read and interpret diagrams and blueprints

+ 5+ years of HVAC service and installation experience

+ Clear communication and solid customer interaction skills

+ Independent, reliable, and organized work style

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ HVAC schooling or certifications preferred

+ Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

+ **EPA 608 Certification (required)** — Universal preferred

Work Environment

You’ll travel to a variety of homes and businesses throughout the area using a company-provided vehicle. All major tools and equipment are supplied, and technicians are expected to keep them clean, organized, and in good working condition. Some after‑hours or emergency service needs may arise.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
