Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair of urethane molding machines. This includes replacing equipment, parts, and systems, as well as cleaning and checking equipment to ensure lines are ready to start. You will work with mechanical components such as pumps, valves, and motors, and electrical components like switches, encoders, indicators, and level sensors. A strong understanding of power supplies, transformers, step down, and control voltages is essential, along with the ability to operate machines through HMIs.

Responsibilities

+ **Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues in urethane molding machines.**

+ **Replace faulty equipment, parts, and systems as needed.**

+ **Perform regular cleaning and inspections to ensure equipment readiness.**

+ **Work with mechanical components such as pumps, valves, and motors.**

+ **Handle electrical components including switches, encoders, indicators, and level sensors.**

+ **Understand and manage power supplies, transformers, step down, and control voltages.**

+ **Operate machines through HMIs with computer literacy.**

Essential Skills

+ **Experience in mechanical maintenance from a manufacturing setting.**

+ **3-5 years of experience in 24v-480v electrical maintenance.**

+ **Ability to operate and reposition robotics.**

+ **Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.**

+ **Possession of own hand tools and toolbox.**

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ **Experience in injection molding or extruding.**

+ **Ability to weld, cut, and grind.**

+ **Experience with plumbing systems.**

+ **Operating license for ACE lifts.**

+ **Understanding of robotic programming.**

Work Environment

The work environment is clean, climate-controlled, organized, and well lit. The position is for the 1st shift, from 5am to 1:30pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Permanent position based out of Dayton, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
