    Job Title: Welder

     

    2nd shift 10 hour schedule, Monday to Thursday

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Welder for the 2nd shift,. The ideal candidate should have several years of production welding experience,

    Responsibilities

    + Perform MIG and TIG welding, setting up and adjusting the welding machine, including voltage and wire feed.

    + Work from work orders and blueprints, following Standard Operating Procedures.

    + Handle materials and ensure all necessary documentation, such as SOPs and safety equipment, is adhered to.

    + Operate basic computer tasks, including clocking in and out of jobs and logging hours accurately.

    + Maintain equipment and work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.

    Essential Skills

    + MIG welding experience.

    + Ability to work from work orders and blueprints.

    + Basic computer operating skills.

    + At least 3 years of solid welding experience with the ability to pass a weld test.

    + Good hand-eye coordination and strong attention to detail.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED required.

    + Additional schooling in metal fabrication is a plus.

    + Familiarity with tape measures and basic math skills.

    + Ability to maintain accurate documentation and input information into a computer.

    Work Environment

     

    The position is located in a manufacturing environment that can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. You will be working in a job shop for metal fabrication, where jobs change regularly.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $23.92 - $27.50/hr.
