Job Title: Cell Technician** **Job Description

This position is responsible for producing dispensing closures in a quality and cost-efficient manner, troubleshooting process problems, and performing necessary changes to enhance quality and productivity. You will ensure that molds, assembly machines, and auxiliary equipment operate according to set standards. Based on product specifications, you will perform hourly checks on caps and spouts and conduct specified functional testing throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

+ Perform and record all quality data and test results.

+ Troubleshoot production process issues and make authorized system changes.

+ Notify appropriate individuals if problems are not repairable to maintain production.

+ Perform Mattec changes and process adjustments as needed.

+ Follow proper procedures for mold line clearance and press clean down to prevent contamination.

+ Conduct and document daily preventative maintenance including cleaning mold faces and assembly machines.

+ Handle materials by emptying and filling boxes, applying labels, and recording production and scrap.

+ Maintain a clean and organized shop floor, complying with safety standards.

+ Perform general housekeeping duties such as sweeping and trash removal.

+ May perform assembly and inspection tasks when primary duties are unavailable.

Essential Skills

+ 2-3 years demonstrated experience in a similar role.

+ Experience with plastic injection preferred.

+ Manufacturing experience preferred.

+ Proficiency in using hand tools and performing assembly tasks.

+ Troubleshooting skills in plastics injection molding and manufacturing processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to lift heavy objects.

+ Experience with general production and labor tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Slatersville, RI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
