Job Title: Production Worker

Job Description

We are hiring reliable Production Workers to support a large Packing Project and assist with day‑to‑day plant operations. This is a hands‑on role that offers steady work, clear tasks, and the opportunity to learn multiple areas of production.

Responsibilities

+ Assist with material handling, loading, and unloading.

+ Support general production and labor tasks as needed.

+ Operate forklifts to move and stage materials.

+ Set up and organize pallets and packaging lines.

+ Perform manual labor outdoors when required.

+ Use a tape measure to take accurate measurements.

+ Work as part of a team on an assembly‑line process.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in material handling or general labor.

+ Ability to work outdoors in different weather conditions.

+ Forklift experience (preferred).

+ Ability to read and use a tape measure.

+ Reliable transportation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience on packing or packaging lines is a plus.

+ Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesapeake, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
