Job Title: Electrical Tester

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Tester to join our team. This position involves troubleshooting and testing industrial transformers and components, with an opportunity for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot and test industrial transformers.

+ Read and interpret electrical prints, blueprints, and schematics.

+ Test electrical components and configure power supplies and generators.

+ Conduct dielectric and controls testing on high voltages.

+ Identify and resolve electrical problems.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.

+ Proficiency in handling high voltage equipment.

+ Experience in dielectric testing and controls testing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Prior experience in electrical maintenance.

+ Familiarity with using micrometers.

+ Experience in testing oil quality.

+ Military experience, especially avionics techs, is advantageous.

+ Flexibility to work weekends with overtime pay rates.

Work Environment

The work environment is climate-controlled, requiring you to be on your feet, climbing stairs, and working on transformers. Training is provided on the first shift (7am-3pm) for 8-12 months, after which you will transition to the 11pm-7am shift. Flexibility to work weekends is necessary, with additional compensation provided for weekend shifts.

This is a Permanent position based out of Goldsboro, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $62400.00/yr.
