    Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Engineer** **Job Description

     

    Join a leading manufacturer of Frozen Baked Goods, serving Grocery Stores across the US, as a Facilities Maintenance Engineer. We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our Facilities Team, ensuring the smooth operation of bakery production equipment, freezers, and facilities. This full-time role demands strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a busy environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform preventative maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of all bakery equipment, including production areas, building, and facility grounds.

    + Maintain equipment productivity to minimize downtime or malfunctions, completing tasks within rigid time frames to maximize productivity.

    + Ensure all work areas are clean and safe, adhering to company GMPs.

    + Work safely and efficiently, complying with Federal and State regulations.

    + Maintain accurate and timely records of work performed on work orders, maintenance calls, and preventative maintenance reports.

    + Respond promptly to maintenance and line stoppage calls to resume production swiftly.

    + Provide emergency repairs quickly and efficiently.

    + Perform duties in all areas within the maintenance department.

    + Provide technical assistance and information to the Chief Engineer as needed.

    + Show initiative in recognizing necessary work and making recommendations to the Chief Engineer.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.

    + Industrial electrical experience.

    + Ability to work in a high-temperature environment supporting fast-paced machinery.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Inverter and PLC programming preferred.

    + Previous experience in maintenance of production line equipment and facilities at a large commercial bakery is preferred.

    + Work experience in similar equipment maintenance of industrial, manufacturing, or production line equipment preferred.

    + Flexibility to learn new tasks and perform different duties as needed.

    + Availability to work any day, including holidays and weekends.

    + Reliable transportation to meet 24/7 production standards.

    Work Environment

    Work in a commercial bakery exposed to noise, dust, and food allergens. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as hair nets, gloves, smocks, and glasses must be worn at all times.

    The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
