    Job Title: Bulk Railcar Loader (US)

    Shift:

    3rd Shift: 6pm-6:30am

    + 4 Day on / 4 Day off rotation with additional overtime available year round

    Pay Rate:

    $20.13 starting pay rate.

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Bulk Railcar Loader to join our operations team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient loading of bulk trucks and railcars while maintaining a high standard of safety and adherence to schedules.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate all equipment required to load bulk trucks and railcars efficiently.

    + Work safely on top of bulk trucks or railcars using appropriate fall protection.

    + Follow schedules to ensure orders are loaded by the correct departure time.

    + Perform sanitation and preventative maintenance tasks.

    + Direct other employees in proper safety, food safety, and sanitation procedures.

    Essential Skills

    + Basic problem-solving skills.

    + Mechanical aptitude.

    + Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.

    + Ability to stand and walk continuously for 8-12 hours.

    + Capability to climb stairs and ladders.

    + Strength to lift and carry 50 pounds/23 kilograms.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with hand tools, assembly, and mechanical assembly.

    + Reliable transportation for all shifts and weekends.

    + Willingness to learn about and operate all equipment in the bulk house.

    Work Environment

     

    This is a swing shift position requiring work outside in all weather conditions. Employees must be able to rotate shifts and provide job coverage, including some weekends. The role involves operating equipment on top of bulk trucks and railcars, with a focus on safety and adherence to procedures. No relocation assistance is available.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CHATTANOOGA, TN.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.13 - $20.13/hr.
