    Experienced Polisher – Pharmaceutical & Food-Grade

     

    We're looking for a skilled polisher with experience in pharmaceutical-grade and food-grade stainless steel polishing. This role involves working on custom, one-off projects that require precision finishing, high-tolerance work, and the ability to achieve mirror finishes on sanitary stainless steel components.

    What You'll Be Doing:

    + Hand polishing and orbital polishing on stainless steel (304, 316, 316L)

    + Achieving #4, #8, and mirror finishes to meet 3A sanitary standards and FDA compliance

    + Weld blending, buffing, and surface passivation

    + Working on complex geometries and custom fabrication projects

    + Mentoring and sharing techniques with other team members

    What We're Looking For:

    + 10+ years of polishing experience (pharmaceutical, food-grade, or medical device preferred)

    + Experience with sanitary stainless steel and cGMP environments

    + Ability to work independently on high-tolerance, one-off projects

    + Own tools preferred but not required

    + Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship

    **Pay:** $24-$27/hr depending on experience

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Beloit, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
