Job Description

As an Aircraft Technician, you will be responsible for performing heavy phase preventative and regularly scheduled maintenance on corporate charter aircrafts every 150 hours.

Essential Skills

+ A&P License

+ 3+ years of experience with corporate jets.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct line service, inspection, repair, and modification of aircraft and/or aircraft systems and components.

+ Utilize technical knowledge to efficiently repair aircraft discrepancies and properly document all work performed.

+ Employ comprehensive test equipment and special tools to complete inspections.

+ Use computer systems to research inspections, repair criteria, and parts requirements.

+ Perform comprehensive troubleshooting and repair of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

+ Inspect, rig, and adjust flight controls and control cables.

+ Conduct phase inspection and repair on Cessna 560 aircraft.

+ Perform annual inspection on piston engine aircraft.

+ Handle engine removal, installation, rigging, and adjustment of engine controls.

+ Re-fuel, de-fuel, and test aircraft fuel systems and components.

+ Conduct aircraft pressurization checks and engine run-up and taxi checks.

+ Execute sheet metal repairs.

+ Remove, clean, repair, and install upholstery.

+ Manage removal, disassembly, and assembly of main landing gear wheel assemblies.

+ Perform altimeter and transponder recertification.

+ Execute RVSM recertification.

Work Environment

Work in a small shop, business aviation environment with a fleet of 13 aircraft, planning to double in the next 3-5 years. The company has 20 employees, 15 of whom are technicians. Work shifts are 10 hours a day for 4 days a week, Tuesday to Friday, 7 AM to 5:30 PM, with one weekend shift per month.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bay City, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
