Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for the service, repair, and maintenance of blow-molding and plastic injection production equipment. This role involves preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and general machinery repair, which may include welding or fabricating parts. The main objective is to support production operations, ensuring schedules and goals are met and customer orders are fulfilled.
Responsibilities
+ Perform service, repair, and maintenance on blow-molding and plastic injection production equipment.
+ Conduct preventative maintenance and mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
+ Execute general repair of machinery, potentially involving welding or fabricating parts.
+ Support production operations to ensure schedules and goals are on track and customer orders are met.
Essential Skills
+ 2-4+ years of industrial maintenance experience with mechanical and electrical systems.
+ 1+ years of manufacturing/production experience.
+ Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
+ Experience with electrical maintenance and industrial electrical systems.
+ Knowledge of plastic injection and blow molding processes.
+ Ability to read and understand schematics and perform PLC troubleshooting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
+ Basic computer skills and data entry proficiency.

Work Environment
Work in a manufacturing environment with industrial equipment and machinery throughout the facility. The plant operates 24/7, requiring long hours and regular overtime. The environment can be loud, with varying temperatures depending on the season. Areas within the facility include production, warehouse, maintenance shop, and administrative offices. The role involves working on a swing shift with a Monday to Friday schedule, including every other weekend work

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tracy, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $32.00/hr.
