    Job Title: Mixer/Scaler** **Job Description

     

    Join our dynamic team as a Mixer/Scaler, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing process. This position involves working with various shift options and requires a keen attention to detail and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    + Work from written instructions to measure and repackage large quantities of products into smaller batches.

    + Read and follow instructions to add the correct amount of ingredients to produce batter.

    + Operate and maintain mixing machines once proficient.

    + Lift and handle products weighing between 50 to 75 pounds throughout the shift.

    + Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and guidelines.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in mixing, scaling, or batching is preferred.

    + Strong math skills for accurate measuring and batching.

    + Previous manufacturing experience is required.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + No formal education required.

    + Ability to work effectively in a team of 10+ people.

    Work Environment

    Our work environment emphasizes safety and precision. Employees are required to wear non-slip, oil-resistant shoes, a clean t-shirt, and jeans under provided scrubs. Shifts are structured as follows: 1st shift (5:00 am - 1:30 pm), 2nd shift (1:00 pm - 9:30 pm), and 3rd shift (9:00 pm - 5:30 am), with some variations. Reliability is crucial, as consistent attendance is expected during the temporary period.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reading, PA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.50/hr.
