Job Title: Machine Operator** **Job Description

We are seeking candidates to assist with machine operations in our Detroit facility for a Three Rivers production project. This role involves working on the 31XX line, which requires manual lifting of 40lb parts and operating an overhead crane.

Responsibilities

+ Loading and unloading CNC machines or presses.

+ Using hand tools to assemble parts on a production line.

+ Measuring parts to ensure they meet specified tolerances.

+ Adding covers to finished axles before they proceed to the paint line.

Essential Skills

+ Prior experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

+ Ability to consistently lift 40 lbs, including lifting axles and other materials overhead.

+ Capability to bend, lift, and twist throughout the shift.

+ Possession of a High School Diploma or GED.

+ Use of steel-toed boots/shoes for safety.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with production and machine operations.

+ Understanding of manufacturing processes.

Work Environment

The position is located on a clean, well-lit warehouse/production floor where safety is of utmost importance. The dress code includes jeans, a shirt without logos or vulgar language, and steel-toed boots. The role entails working the 3rd shift from Sunday to Thursday, 9 PM - 7 AM, with mandatory overtime currently requiring availability for six days a week.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Detroit, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
