Job Title: 1st shift Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. Our company manufactures reels for various uses, including industrial and consumer applications. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our equipment runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot electrical issues, including 480v, 3-phase motors, VFDs, sensors, relays, and circuits.

+ Perform mechanical troubleshooting on pneumatic and hydraulic systems, bearings, gears, and motors.

+ Complete preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment longevity.

+ Work with assembly equipment, conveyors, automatic welders, stamping presses, and occasionally a powder coating line.

+ Support the implementation of an automation line and work with robotics as needed.

Essential Skills

+ 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

+ Proficient in electrical troubleshooting, particularly with 480v, 3-phase systems.

+ Experienced in mechanical troubleshooting, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

+ Ability to interpret electrical schematics.

+ Experience in preventive maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with powder coating is a plus.

+ PLC experience, including the ability to interpret ladder logic, is advantageous.

Work Environment

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, with very rare Saturday work. The first shift operates from 7am to 3pm. Employees benefit from a 5% shift premium. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia City, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
