About the Role

We’re expanding our department and looking for a skilled **TIG Welder / Fabricator** who excels with smaller precision parts, enjoys a repeatable process done right, and wants to play a key role in producing high‑quality stainless steel components.

What You’ll Do

+ Set up and operate TIG welding equipment with precision—including purging, controlling amperage/voltage, and selecting proper filler material

+ Operate orbital welding equipment to support high‑accuracy welds

+ Read and interpret detailed blueprints, drawings, and work instructions

+ Weld, fabricate, and inspect stainless steel and aluminum components

+ Handle parts of various sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs)

+ Support general shop tasks and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring

+ 2+ years of hands‑on TIG welding experience

+ 2+ years welding stainless steel

+ 2+ years experience reading welding blueprints and technical drawings

+ Solid mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools

+ Proven experience in welding, fabrication, assembly, and quality inspection

+ A detail‑driven mindset with pride in producing clean, repeatable welds

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
