    Job Title: Production Supervisor

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented production supervisor to join our team on the 2nd shift. The position involves working food production facility cutting and packaging products to precision. This role requires a strong commitment to quality and efficiency, as you will be responsible for overseeing the production process from the initial mixing of ingredients to the final packaging both working on the job and supervising the team.

    Responsibilities

    + Oversee and direct work to team members on 2nd shift

    + Coach and train new employees on tasks

    + Prioritize tasks for the team as needed

    + Assist with job duties in production as a working supervisor

    + Accurately measure and mix ingredients following recipe instructions.

    + Use hands to place mixtures onto trays for processing.

    + Rotate and align product correctly for entry into the packaging machine.

    + Maintain cleanliness and adhere to all GMP protocols

    + Inspect finished product for quality at the end of the production line.

    + Place bars into trays or containers and ensure proper flow and organization of finished products.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ year of experience in a role requiring attention to detail.

    + 1+ year of experience in a team lead or supervisory role in manufacturing.

    + Ability to read and perform basic math for measuring ingredients.

    + Comfortable working around food

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience in food production.

    + Experience tracking production goals.

    + Experience with GMP manufacturing.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
