    Forklift Operator

     

    Pay: $20+ ($21.60 once hired perm)

     

    Shift: 6am -2:30pm // 9am - 5pm

    Job Description

As a Forklift Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient operation of a logistics warehouse and distribution center.

    Responsibilities

    + Pick orders using paper pick sheets.

    + Operate stand-up reach lifts and sit-down forklifts.

    + Wrap pallets using the pallet wrapping machine.

    + Load and unload trucks using a forklift.

    + Be cross-trained to perform every warehouse function, ensuring flexibility in roles such as order pulling, shipping, and receiving.

    + Maintain warehouse safety and operational standards.

    + Utilize company software for inventory management; experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is preferred.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 2 years of warehouse experience.

    + Minimum of 1 year experience with a sit-down forklift.

    + Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.

    + Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry.

    + Ability to lift upwards of 50 lbs.

    + Strong safety awareness.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with RF scanners is a plus.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a logistics warehouse and distribution center that stores sensitive products used for the military. The facility offers a dynamic environment with a primary shift of 9 AM to 5:30 PM, where employees are expected to be versatile and perform various tasks. Dress code is typical for a warehouse setting, with an emphasis on safety.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
