Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling components in line with engineering and quality standards to satisfy customer requirements and expectations. Collaborating with Machine Operators and Warehouse associates, the Mechanical Assembler ensures production targets are met while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, basic mechanical assembly experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
+ Perform day-to-day operational production assembly tasks such as building and assembling housed bearing assemblies.
+ Work cross-functionally with other assembly and value-add departmental operations.
+ Operate basic machinery functions.
+ Process inventory and raw materials throughout the department.
+ Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
+ Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Essential Skills
+ Strong communication skills
+ Ability to lift 50-60 lbs
+ Proficiency in using basic hand tools
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ 1+ year of warehouse or assembly work experience
+ Ability to interpret and understand technical drawings and terminology
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with mechanical assembly
+ Basic machine operation experience

Work Environment
The work environment is not climate controlled but features large ceiling fans circulating the air. The facility is brand new, providing a modern workspace for all employees.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
