Job Title: Packaging Technician
Job Description
Join our team as a Packaging Technician for 2nd shift (3:15pm - 11:15pm) or 3rd shift (11pm - 7am) , where you will play a vital role in the assembly, manufacturing, filling, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products. You will ensure that all processes adhere to the highest quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
+ Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and customer requirements in all areas of responsibility.
+ Comply with all safety regulations and conduct all activities in a safe, efficient manner.
+ Perform manual or automated assembly, manufacturing, filling, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products.
+ Act as the primary performer of in-process and AQL inspections.
+ Execute computer-related tasks necessary for job performance.
+ Participate in start-up and closure of packaging jobs.
+ Clean packaging rooms and machinery in accordance with SOPs and GMP.
+ Accept or reject in-process clinical supplies and drug products.
+ Perform counts of components and drug product.

+ Mathematical skills for counting, adding, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages.
+ Ability to interpret 2D diagrams and batch paperwork.
+ Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to work in Primary, Secondary, Refrigerated (2 to 8° C), and freezer environments (up to 80% of the day could be in a freezer).
+ Ability to stand continuously, lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds, bend frequently, squat, and reach above shoulder-level.
+ Ability to read, comprehend, and execute the content of English work documents, including SOPs, work instructions, knowledge assessments (KAs), cGMP, and safety procedures.
+ Capability to work independently or as part of a team.
+ Initiative and adaptability to changing circumstances.
+ Willingness to accept and learn from feedback.

Work Environment
Candidates must be comfortable working in a freezer environment, which requires gowning in a cleanroom setting. Personal Protective Equipment Certification (PPE), including filtering face masks, PAPR, N-95 masks, half face masks, and safety glasses, is required. Additional compensation is provided for work in PAPR/refrigerator and freezer environments.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.70 - $19.55/hr.
