Job Title: MIG Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding components based on blueprints, setting up and aligning materials, and operating MIG welding equipment. This role requires attention to detail to ensure that all products meet exact specifications.

Responsibilities

+ Weld components based on blueprints.

+ Set up, align, and fit end plates and tread blanks in preparation for welding.

+ Operate MIG welding equipment to attach end plates to tread blanks.

+ Inspect finished products to ensure they meet exact specifications.

Essential Skills

+ At least 1 year of welding experience.

+ Ability to read blueprints.

+ Torch cutting experience.

+ Proficiency with hand tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with forklift operation.

+ Hoist experience.

Work Environment

You will be working in a manufacturing setting that produces high-quality steel and aluminum bar grating, as well as fencing products. The work hours include **openings on the first shift, with options for 8-hour shifts from 6 am to 2:30 pm and 10-hour shifts from 6 am to 4:30 pm.**

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Garrett, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.
