    Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician with proficiency in Scope Processing using Medivator AER and Olympus OER equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in the sterilization and assembly of specialized instruments and equipment, ensuring the highest standards of performance for surgical procedures.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform sterile processing duties under the guidance of lead technicians.

    + Reprocess and assemble specialized instruments and equipment, including washing, sterilizing, and preparing them for use.

    + Operate specialized washers and sterilizers according to established procedures.

    + Maintain and inspect instruments to ensure high performance during surgical procedures.

    + Document required information and maintain accurate records.

    + Set up case carts for surgical procedures and ensure correct inventory.

    + Restock equipment and supplies as needed.

    + Assist with the preparation of equipment, instruments, and supplies.

    + Operate and troubleshoot equipment, seeking assistance when necessary.

    + Report hazardous conditions, equipment malfunctions, accidents, or incidents to the immediate supervisor.

    + Participate in performance improvement activities and meetings.

    + Engage in training, educational activities, and staff meetings.

    + Assist in the orientation and training of other personnel.

    + Decontamination experience - MUST HAVE

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + High School Diploma or GED required.

    + CRCST certification - Central Service Technician Certification.

    + 5 years of experience in neuro, ortho, and robotics preferred.

    + Ability to work rotating weekends.

    + AHA BLS certification.

    Work Environment

    Work will be conducted on the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, with hours from 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM. The position requires working rotating weekends. The team comprises 15 members, allowing collaboration with colleagues from both shifts.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Bernardino, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
