Job Title: Electronics TechnicianJob Description

We are seeking an Electronics Technician who possesses robust hands-on troubleshooting skills and experience with oscilloscopes and multimeters. The ideal candidate will have basic programming skills and a strong desire to learn while working under the guidance of a lead engineer. Excellent documentation and communication skills are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

+ Perform hands-on troubleshooting of electronic systems and components to identify and resolve issues efficiently.

+ Utilize oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to test and analyze electronic circuits and systems.

+ Use a custom panel programmer (after training) to perform basic programming tasks and ensure system functionality.

+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of troubleshooting processes, repairs, and programming changes.

+ Collaborate effectively with team members and communicate technical information clearly.

+ Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and technologies and apply them to improve system performance.

+ Work under the direction of a lead engineer to support project goals and deliver high-quality results.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in using oscilloscopes and multimeters.

+ Basic programming skills with the ability to learn and use custom panel programming tools.

+ Strong hands-on troubleshooting abilities.

+ Soldering (Surface Mount-SMT).

+ Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.

+ Good communication and teamwork abilities.

+ Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

+ Proven experience as an individual contributor.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Westford, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $37.00/hr.
