    Job Title: Hydraulic EngineerJob Description

     

    Join our dynamic team as a Hydraulic Engineer at our design headquarters in Clayton, North Carolina. You will be part of a dedicated group of professionals responsible for designing and validating construction equipment, including Backhoe Loaders, Hydraulic Excavators, Small Bulldozers, and Skid Steer Loaders. Our mission is to provide value to global customers by designing, developing, optimizing, testing, validating, and supporting hydraulic systems.

    Responsibilities

    + Interface with suppliers to understand the design, fabrication, and use of hydraulic components.

    + Develop new hydraulic system and component solutions for mobile equipment.

    + Oversee the detailing and releasing of engineering drawings for hydraulic components.

    + Research and explore new technologies to innovate and improve engineering designs.

    + Promote quality and continuous improvement philosophies.

    + Deepen knowledge of products, technologies, processes, services, and systems.

    + Organize and prioritize work assignments to ensure timely completion.

    Essential Skills

    + Expertise in hydraulic systems and mechanical engineering.

    + Proficiency in supplier evaluation and interface.

    + Experience with Hydraulics Systems Development and mobile hydraulics industry knowledge.

    + Familiarity with teamcenter and BOM generation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Technical 2-year associate degree or equivalent mobile hydraulics experience.

    + 3-5 years minimum relevant mobile hydraulics engineering work experience or service in off-highway construction hydraulic systems.

    + Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.

    + Initiative and self-starting task orientation.

    Work Environment

    The work environment involves collaborating with various team members and suppliers to address technical inquiries and execute corrective action analyses and reporting. You will engage in the Engineering Change Notice process to implement changes to prints. The position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and ensure that assignments are completed on time.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Clayton, NC.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
