Job Title: Engineering Technician
Job Description
The Engineering Technician will be responsible for providing product design support for standard or custom power units. The role involves working under the guidance of Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineers to carry out prototyping, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
Responsibilities
+ Assist design engineers in prototyping new product designs, including both completely new designs and subassemblies.
+ Participate in regulatory agency testing or preparation, such as UL, CSA, and TUV.
+ Prototype concepts using available materials.
+ Assist in debugging production problems.
+ Create manufacturing instructions.
Essential Skills
+ Testing and troubleshooting experience.
+ Experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and micrometers.
+ Over 5 years of experience with power or electromechanical products.
+ Previous electrical wiring experience.
+ Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Two-year degree.
+ Experience with low and medium voltage power systems.
+ Proficiency in MS-Office desktop solutions, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Independence, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
