    Laboratory Coordinator

    Job Description

    Join our team as a Laboratory Technician where you will play a vital role in the global distribution of samples to support the development and registration of crop science products. You will manage logistics to ensure samples are processed and delivered accurately and efficiently.

    Responsibilities

    + Process sample orders using Sample Logistics Applications.

    + Prepare sample orders for shipping and attach appropriate Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

    + Scan each sample order and its samples for packaging, complete the shipping process according to IATA and DOT regulations, and file the shipping documents.

    + Assist in completing international shipments and communicate shipping details.

    + Conduct and reconcile sample inventories, create Excel inventory reports, and maintain records.

    + Receive packages for the Sample Logistics team and maintain accurate records.

    + Maintain the Certificate of Analysis archive for GLP samples.

    + Oversee the restricted GLP cage area according to GLP regulations.

    + Sub-fill sample containers while adhering to HSE, SDS, and site safety policies.

    + Apply FIFRA research sample labels and manage inventory processes.

    + Identify questionable test substances and consult with the Sample Logistics manager.

    + Maintain SDS filing for the Sample Logistics Inventory.

    + Maintain bulk inventory and ensure proper labeling and shelving.

    + Assist in ordering, receiving, and organizing supplies for the Sample Logistics team.

    + Comply with all IATA and DOT trainings.

    + Report discrepancies and issues with orders, computer, and applications.

    Essential Skills

    + Associate degree or equivalent with 0-3 years of related experience.

    + Preferred degree in the Science field.

    + Knowledge of safe chemical handling.

    + Experience in inventory maintenance.

    + High computer literacy.

    + Ability to work quickly, effectively, and safely.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience in logistics is preferred.

    + High integrity and strong communication skills.

    + Ability to think independently.

    Work Environment

    The role involves working in a laboratory setting where adherence to safety regulations is essential. The environment requires handling chemicals, managing inventories, and ensuring safe, effective sample logistics operations. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and maintain a high level of integrity and communication.

    This is a Contract position based out of Chesterfield, MO.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
