    Job Title: DrafterJob Description

     

    As a Drafter, you will be involved in the structural design of steel and concrete structures, connections, shop drawings, and fabrication detailing. Your role will also include piping isometrics, modeling, and pipe support design, along with preparing flow diagrams (P&ID & PFDs) and electrical/instrumentation wiring diagrams. You will handle mechanical details of machines and similar components as well as the electrical design of stations, single line, and wiring diagrams.

    Responsibilities

    + Design structural elements for steel and concrete structures including connections and detailing.

    + Prepare and review shop drawings and fabrication details.

    + Create piping isometrics, models, and design pipe support systems.

    + Develop flow diagrams including P&ID and PFDs.

    + Draft electrical and instrumentation wiring diagrams.

    + Detail mechanical components of machines and similar structures.

    + Design electrical stations and produce single line and wiring diagrams.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in 2D and 3D drafting tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, and MicroStation.

    + Experience in drafting within nuclear, oil & gas, renewables, and automotive high voltage systems.

    + Associates degree in drafting.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Strong background in mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    + Capability to work with large clients in the nuclear power industry.

Candidates are preferred to be located in EST/CT, but MST is also considered.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Naperville, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.25/hr.
