Job Title: Senior Software Algorithm DeveloperJob Description

This position is for a Senior Software Algorithm Developer who is enthusiastic about tackling challenging problems. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the development of algorithms across various disciplines, including Signal/Image Processing, Space Domain Awareness (SDA), Satellite Communication (SATCOM), and Signals Intelligence (SIGINT). As a technical lead, you will guide a team of developers from prototyping to operational deployment of these algorithms.

Responsibilities

+ Develop and support algorithms in multiple disciplines such as Signal/Image Processing, SDA, SATCOM, and SIGINT.

+ Lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance and oversight.

+ Oversee the transition of algorithms from prototype to operational environments.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in algorithm development.

+ M.S. or PhD in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, physics, or a related STEM field.

+ Experience with Linux operating systems.

+ Familiarity with AWS cloud computing resources like EC2, S3, and Lambda.

+ Experience with popular computational libraries such as OpenCV, Boost, Eigen, and Dlib.

+ Experience with source code version control systems.

+ Experience implementing algorithms on the GPU in Python or C++ using CUDA.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with additional programming languages such as C#, Go, or R.

+ Experience in application deployment, virtualization, and containerization.

+ Experience working with various Remote Sensing datasets (e.g., EO/OPIR/SAR images, passive RF).

+ Experience in developing modeling and simulation environments or OpenAI Gym environments for Reinforcement Learning.

Work Environment

The work environment involves using cutting-edge technologies and equipment. It includes cloud-based computing resources, and the role may require working with remote sensing datasets and various computational libraries. The dress code is business casual.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Aurora, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $225000.00/yr.
