    We are seeking an entry-level Electrical Engineer to support the design and engineering of building electrical systems. Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will work on system designs for power distribution, lighting, grounding, cable tray layouts, and special systems such as data/telecom, security, and fire alarm. This role involves performing fundamental engineering calculations and developing design documentation. You will also coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction partners to ensure integrated and code-compliant solutions.

    Responsibilities

    + Design and engineer building electrical systems under the guidance of senior engineers.

    + Perform engineering calculations such as power load, illumination, short circuit, and voltage drop.

    + Develop design documentation, including reports, one-line diagrams, and specifications.

    + Coordinate with architects, engineers, and construction partners to ensure integrated solutions.

    + Support all phases of design from conceptual studies through construction administration.

    + Engage in field investigations, RFI responses, submittal reviews, and punch list activities.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

    + Proficiency in Revit, BIM, and AutoCAD.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Internship experience is a plus.

    + Familiarity with pharmaceutical projects is beneficial.

    This position is based in an office in Rockville, MD. You will have the opportunity to work for a large company with significant potential for upward mobility. We offer 3 weeks of PTO and sick pay.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockville, MD.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.17 - $43.27/hr.
