We are seeking a hands‑on technician to join our team onsite, supporting the installation of electronic components on transit vehicles. This role requires close coordination between our installation team and the Transit Authority/Headquarters to ensure smooth project execution.
This is a 3‑month contract with overtime opportunities and the potential to transition into a longer‑term service role.
Responsibilities
+ Install electronic components and systems on transit vehicles
+ Serve as a communication bridge between the installation team and Transit Authority/Headquarters
+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
+ Use hand tools, power tools, and computer-based diagnostic equipment
+ Ensure quality standards, documentation accuracy, and project timelines are met
Requirements
+ Comfortable working around large vehicles in an active shop environment
+ Strong communication and computer skills
+ Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics
+ Experience with hand tools and basic electrical/electronic systems

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
