    Job Title: QC Data Reviewer

    Job Description

    We are seeking a meticulous QC Data Reviewer to oversee a team of chemists and lab technicians responsible for testing finished products, raw materials, and ANDA products. Your role will involve completing data reviews and assisting in audits and investigations related to testing deviations for pharmaceutical products. You will play a critical role in ensuring quality control within the lab, focusing on oral dose products.

    Responsibilities

    + Oversee testing conducted by chemists on finished products, raw materials, in-process samples, components, and stability study samples.

    + Perform testing of new ANDA oral dose products using techniques such as titrations, pH measurement, specific gravity, and HPLC.

    + Assist with sample testing, including oral rinses and antiseptics, using HPLC, GC, TOC, FT-IR, UV-Vis, and pH meters.

    + Inspect supplies and ingredients used in the production of pharmaceutical products.

    + Review SOPs and lab protocols for accuracy and compliance.

    + Conduct instrument validation as needed.

    + Adhere to GMP and FDA guidelines in all procedures.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5+ years of experience with HPLC/GC in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.

    + 2+ years of audit trail experience, preferably with Openlab, Master Control, and/or LabX.

    + Bachelor’s degree with a major in chemistry.

    + Comprehensive understanding of GMP and GDP standards.

    + Proficiency in chemistry, wet chemistry, and analytical chemistry.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Preferred 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with hands-on experience in GC, HPLC, FTIR, and titration.

    + Familiarity with Agilent OpenLab software.

    + Good handwriting for laboratory notebook documentation.

    Work Environment

    The role is based in a QC Lab at a rapidly growing pharmaceutical company specializing in oral rinse and antiseptic solutions, as well as other pharmaceutical products. The lab primarily focuses on new ANDA products within the Oral Dose division. The company has recently expanded by acquiring a new building and is building out a lab in Lake Villa. The work schedule is during the 1st shift, from 8 AM to 4 PM or 9 AM to 5 PM, providing an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and expanding team.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Prospect, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $36.00/hr.
